Our baseline promise
ConvertFiles is designed to reduce unnecessary data exposure. When a workflow can reasonably run in the browser, we prefer that approach so users can finish a task without sending their files to a remote conversion service.
1. What runs locally and what does not
Many image, text, and utility workflows on ConvertFiles are intended to run directly in the browser. In those cases, the source file or text stays on your device while the browser performs the processing.
Some site features naturally require network requests. Examples include analytics, contact-form delivery, and advertising scripts. Those paths are separate from the core browser-processing promise and are not described as local-only.
2. Information we may collect
We aim to keep collection limited and practical. Depending on the page and the service in use, ConvertFiles may receive or store:
- Basic analytics about page views, browser types, and on-site interactions.
- Error and diagnostic signals that help identify broken tools or browser issues.
- Contact details and message content that you submit intentionally through the contact form.
3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
ConvertFiles may use cookies or similar technologies through analytics and advertising providers. These providers may use their own identifiers or settings to understand visits and serve ads where applicable.
Analytics
Analytics tools help us understand which pages are used, where users abandon a workflow, and which devices or browsers may need attention.
Advertising
If advertising is shown, third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies. You can review Google ad settings atGoogle Ads Settings.
4. Contact and support submissions
When you use the contact form, you are intentionally sending us the information you place into that form, such as your name, email address, subject, and message. That information is used to respond to your request and maintain the service.
5. Third-party services
ConvertFiles may rely on third-party providers for analytics, advertising, and support delivery. Those services have their own privacy policies and practices, and you should review them separately if you want provider-specific details.
6. Questions about privacy
If you have a privacy-related question, please use thecontact pageso we can review the request directly.
